Rachel, with then-partner Kim, started a sustainable farm business in fall 2009 at St. Charles Park District’s Primrose Farm, where we grew a diverse array of vegetables and herbs for a 45-member CSA and on-site farm stand. In 2013, the operation shifted away from vegetable production to focus on educating and growing seedlings for home gardeners.

In 2016, the seedling part of the business was discontinued, but Rachel continues to educate beginning and experienced gardeners how to find success with organic gardening.
